Hi, I’m Toula!
Oh hello!
How lovely to see you here. I’m delighted that you have found your way to my store.
I’m Toula, a creative seeker, trying to work out what it takes to inspire and UN-boring our lives. I have been an educator and designer dedicated to adding more creativity, beauty and joy into our daily moments.
I live in the beautiful Yarra Ranges just outside Melbourne, Australia. I acknowledge that for at least 35,000 years, the Wurundjeri people have been the traditional custodians of the land within Yarra Ranges and beyond.
I am privileged enough to share this mountainous land with a whole host of weird and wonderful Australian creatures. There’s Wilma the wallaby, George the kookaburra and his ever-growing brood of laughing chicks, Penny the Possum who likes to eat everything I plant (including my roses), Wally the wombat who is rarely seen but often felt, deer that can eat their way through pretty much anything unfenced, black lyre birds that scratch and squawk on rainy days for juicy but unsuspecting grubs, magnificently colored parrots strutting like cat walk models on my balcony rails, naughty squadrons of squawking, rowdy cockatoos who rule the sky like bossy fighter jets, timid but scary snakes, and lots of other feathered and furry friends that never cease to entertain and amaze me.
It is difficult not to be in constant awe of the endless wonder and power of nature. So, my art is mostly inspired by nature and its power to heal us and bring us peace.
I have named my store, Go Wild Lifestyle, in honor of all things wild. I hope you find some inspiration, joy and peace in the things I have designed for you.
As an educator I am also interested in the power knowledge and creativity has to lift us out of ignorance and intolerance.
This is the place where I bring together the various aspects of my life: my art, my writing, my learnings and unlearnings, my teaching and my products.
I invite you to make frequent return journeys to this place as I grow it and because it would be a privilege to serve you and spend some time together.

Dear Reader…
No. 1: I won a lots of spelling competitions when I was younger but I never learned to type. So if you see typos anywhere they are not spelling mistakes but please let me know.
No. 2: I am a pretty good cook but may or may not burn quite a few things in the kitchen.
No. 3: I once won the role of Little Miss Muffett because I screamed the loudest in the audition.
No. 4: I don’t like playing board games…there I’ve said it!
No. 5: I once tried to learn how to play the guitar (because I wanted to be Joan Baez). I paid for 10 lessons. I had my first lesson. Returned for the second lesson but the ‘teacher’ had shut the music shop. Okaaaaay…was it something I said?
No. 6: I love carbs and carbs love me. It’s a fatal love affair.
No. 7: I started my digital journey when as a young educator in a community education centre I was invited to join a university research program to look at whether ‘this internet thing‘ was going to be valuable in the classroom! Ummmm….derrrr.
No. 8: I am hopelessly in love with Indonesia, India and Paris.
No. 9: I speak 3 languages: English and Greek fluently and Indonesian really badly but really well when I’ve had a few shandies.
No. 10: I adore my family, friends and Iggy Pop. If someone could let Iggy know, I’d be grateful. Thanks.
Bonus admission: I love naps. I could nap for Australia.
